Yoga Teacher Training

Balanced Planet Yoga is a Vinyasa-based studio and school that teaches a method that harmonizes detailed instruction and alignment with breath and fluid movement.  We have created our own unique flow consisting of sun salutations and various postures that are skillfully sequenced to complete a balanced 60 minute class.  Our program is designed to deepen your understanding of the many facets of yoga and offer you an opportunity to experience tremendous personal growth both on and off your mat.

Curriculum

What You Will Get

  • 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification
  • 5 Months unlimited yoga classes during your training at Balanced Planet Yoga (does not include workshops)

  • Hands on adjustments
  • Dharma Talks and Theming Classes

What You Will You Need

Before You Apply

  • We suggest a minimum of 6 months of a consistent yoga practice
  • An openness to learn, grow, and transform your life

What You Will Need to do to Complete Your Training

  • Attend all in-studio teacher training weekends
  • Attend a specific number of classes in-between sessions
  • Complete all at home readings and assignments
  • Complete all homework, tests, and quizzes
  • Teach two classes to the BPY Community

Cheryl Van Sciver – 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, 50 hour Budokon Yoga Instructor, Budokon Red Belt.
