Balanced Planet Yoga Announces 200 Hour Teacher Training April 2017
Yoga Teacher Training FAQ’S
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE PROGRAM?
You can now sign up online! Go to our first Weekend Dates [April 6th] and register just like you would for a class!
WHAT STYLE OF YOGA IS THE BALANCED PLANET YOGA TEACHER TRAINING?
Balanced Planet Yoga is a Vinyasa-based studio and school that teaches a method that harmonizes detailed instruction and alignment with breath and fluid movement. We have created our own unique flow consisting of sun salutations and various postures that are skillfully sequenced to complete a balanced 60 minute class. We also teach proper modification and educate trainees on using props to make this practice suitable for all levels. Our flow will also be taught in a beginners format and more advanced format so that the trainee will have experience teaching to different groups of students.
HOW PROFICIENT IN YOGA DO I HAVE TO BE TO DO THE 200-HOUR PROGRAM?
We suggest that you have a minimum of 6 months of a consistent yoga practice before enrolling in our teacher training program. We want to make sure that trainees have a basic foundation in the primary yoga postures before learning how to teach. Each training weekend will involve a lot of physical activity and we want to ensure that the body is ready for it! Not sure if your practice is “good” enough? Come talk to us. I bet we will think differently!
