BPY’s 5 Minute Meditation Challenge

What if we spent our days in isolation from one another finding a way to connect more?

We’ve heard a lot of reasons why people avoid a meditation practice. One of them being the lack of time. Well, one of the bright sides of this quarantine for a lot of us is – a whole heck of a lot of time we never have been able to tap into before. And if you are finding yourself saying you are even busier than before, right now is probably a very good time for you to find a way to take a timeout and get out of fight or flight mode.

Listen, this time is going to pass. You have to ask yourself two very important questions – how are you going to pass it? And, who do you want to be when we get on the other side of this thing?

Meditation can help you answer both these questions. We will talk more about the benefits and methods of meditating during our challenge, but for now why not just do this thing? Commit to spending 5 minutes a day with us starting next Monday, April 13, 2020. Here are all the deets:

BPY’s 5-Minute Meditation Challenge 

Join the BPY community in a 7-day, breath based meditation challenge to promote a moment of pause and presence in what feels like “the never-ending Monday” mode of quarantine life.

Our studio challenge starts Monday April 13th, 2020. 

Here is how it works : 

Each day BPY will post a video demonstration explaining a new breath technique and its benefits! your job is to watch the video and then find a moment in your day to sit down, set a timer, and drop in..for just 5 MINUTES [or more if you are really loving the effects] as you take on the technique and grant yourself permission to press pause.

3 members of the community that complete this 7-day Pranayam practice will be rewarded with FREE yoga!

1st prize : 1-week all access pass to our Namastream prerecorded content 

2nd prize : 1 day all access pass to our Namastream prerecorded content 

3rd prize : 1 FREE prerecorded class 

ready to join us? here is what you need to do:

  • Follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook and share this post on your FB/IG feed or story
  • Tune in each day of the challenge to learn about the chosen breath technique + it’s benefits
  • Carve out at least 5 minutes of your day to sit down and take on the daily Pranayam
  • Post a photo, or quick video on your FB and/or IG feed or story and tag @balancedplanetyoga [bonus points if you share how your experience was!] 

At the end of the challenge we will host a LIVE meditation for everyone to join in on and experience together – its an EPIC meditation that you won’t want to miss.
