Balanced Planet Yoga was pleased to participate in this past weekend’s yoga community Hurricane Relief Benefit with other area studios – the yoga communities of Shine Yoga, OhmGrown Yoga, Tuck Barre Yoga Philly, BlueDeer Yoga, and Yoga House & Wellness Center joined in to raise money for those affected by the devastation of the recent hurricanes. BPY’s co-owner, Cheryl Van Sciver, led the evenings practice off, which was a co-led class with teachers from all studios. We send out a special thanks to Carleena Lara-Bregatta from Shine Yoga, who was the impetus and creative insight behind the project.

Community service is a big part of what being a yogi is about; really a big part of what being a human should be all about. As inhabitants of this planet, we do well to remember just how connected we are as human beings. Our actions, great and small, have a ripple effect throughout our own lives and the lives of our friends, family, and yes, even strangers. Balanced Planet Yoga encourages our community to bring us ideas of how the studio – your studio – can help you achieve your goals to raise awareness, goods, or funds for the causes that are near and dear to your heart. Please email Kate and Cheryl at email@example.com anytime with your suggestions.
Balanced Planet Yoga is located in The Shoppes at Elmwood in Marlton, New Jersey. The studio is co-owned and operated by Katie Moats and Cheryl Van Sciver.
The studio encourages its community to – Gain Balance. Give Back. Get Bliss. Need more information? Visit www.BalancedPlanetYoga.com
