Balanced Planet Yoga is pleased to present a Beginner’s Yoga Series. – Classes will be held on May 2nd, May 9th, and May 16th from 12 noon to 2 PM. In this three-part Beginner’s Yoga Series, we’ll explore the fundamentals of an Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa yoga practice with a focus on breath (pranayama) and postures (asana). This style of yoga places emphasis on linking the breath to movement into and out of postures with the intention of developing strength, flexibility, and balance within the practitioner. I think we can agree both pretty severe, life-altering changes. But what about the kind of big change that cannot be made quickly with a pair of scissors or a plane ride?
